At this event, DDI (Data-Driven Intelligence) will be introduced, which is decision-making in investment management and risk management that utilizes data and analytics based on the experience and knowledge of industry leaders. “Data” here refers to fundamental data, market data, analytics (credit ratings, analyst recommendations, etc.) and alternative data as defined in the white paper by Kolanovic and Krishnamachari. “Intelligence” refers to the ever-evolving quantamental methodology in the industry. In order to pursue alpha and beta in the micro area, a hybrid method using appropriate data selection and machine learning is important.
