Coalition Greenwich - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Trends in Institutional Investing

As diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) themes become increasingly relevant to institutional investing, Coalition Greenwich undertook a global study with institutional investors to understand their DEI practices and shed light on how asset managers can better meet investors’ needs. Topics covered include institutions’ DEI resource commitment, areas of focus, importance of DEI in manager assessment, views on managers’ current DEI efforts, and perceived challenges in furthering the DEI cause in the asset management industry.

Results are based on 412 interviews with investors across North America, Europe, and Asia, conducted during February and March 2022.
