Wednesday, January 15, 2020 Stamford, CT USA — Greenwich Associates is pleased to announce the hiring of Shane Swanson as a Senior Analyst in the Firm’s Market Structure and Technology group.

Prior to joining Greenwich Associates, Shane was the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of Thesys CAT LLC, the Plan Processor for the Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT). Before that he was Director of Equity Market Structure at Citadel Securities, LLC. Shane began his career as outside counsel for Automated Trading Desk, LLC (ATD) and soon joined ATD as General Counsel, eventually becoming Director of Compliance, and, after its acquisition by Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., its CEO. Shane also ran Lava Trading from 2008 - 2010 during his tenure at Citi.

Shane is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
